Pets ‘n Bitz is a small friendly family run pet food and accessories shop in the heart of Low Fell Gateshead. We sell everything from raw frozen food to live food and our aim is to supply and cater for as many animals as possible. We cater for every budget and are stockists for Millieswolfheart, Canagan, Acana & Orijen. We also Stock well-known brands like Forthglade, Jr pet treats, Anco natural treats, James Wellbeloved and Harrington’s to name but a few.
We pride ourselves on having as many natural treats as possible. If we don’t have an item in stock, we will do our best to source it for you. We also provide a local delivery service for those who can’t always get into the shop. We are part of the local community and always love to see the local pooches in the shop where there is always a treat waiting for them. We are dog owners ourselves and they are our own personal taste testers. They have a hard job and take their work very seriously.

Pets ‘n Bitz is ran by Judith with help and support from husband Ken and Son Jonathon. We also of course have our very hard-working quality control and product sampling team of our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Hattie and Holly who try out all our pooch products in advance! Nothing gets sold unless quality approved first!
Judith has extensive retail experience and is totally passionate about animals and about providing a top quality, friendly service to our lovely customers….and of course their owners!

We love Low Fell!
We have lived here for most of our lives with all of our three children having been brought up and attended school in Low Fell.
Low Fell is such a thriving, friendly place to live and we are so pleased to have this shop and be able to provide a local service to the animals of Low Fell and of course the surrounding areas.
The High Street consists of many local businesses including a Cheese shop, Specialist Beer shop, Butchers, Fruit shops, Barbers and Hairdressers, Bridal shop, Opticians, Boutique, Takeaways, Estate agents and many more fantastic local shops. There are lots of great bars and restaurants in the area with a variety of different cuisines and a growing number of cafes, making Low Fell a great place to go for a visit or for a night out.
Low Fell is very well served by a number of main bus links and plenty of car parking areas so please do come and visit Pets ‘n Bitz and the other excellent great value quality local shops on “The Fell”.
